These Terms of Service apply when you use The Social Work Practice Hub website or download or purchase resources through the website. By using the website or obtaining a resource, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Hub
The Social Work Practice Hub provides practical tools, reflective resources and evidence informed learning for professionals and others working alongside children, young people, adults and families.

2. Our resources
Resources may include free downloads, premium digital resources, practice tools, reflective resources, learning materials, workbooks and toolkits.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, resources available through the website are digital products. No physical product will be sent to you.
We aim to describe resources accurately and may update, improve or withdraw resources from time to time.
3. Purchasing resources
The price of a premium resource will be shown before purchase. Payment is processed using the payment options available through our Shopify store.
Once payment has been successfully completed, the digital resource will normally be made available electronically through the download process provided.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when completing a purchase.
4. Licence and permitted use
Unless a different licence is clearly stated, purchasing a premium resource gives one individual practitioner a licence to download, save, print and use that resource within their own professional practice, including direct work with the people they support.
The purchase of a resource does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights to the purchaser.
Unless you have our written permission or an appropriate team or organisational licence, you must not share or forward the digital file to colleagues, upload it to a shared drive or resource library, distribute it across a team, service or organisation, sell or commercially redistribute it, or reproduce or adapt it for resale.
Team and organisational licensing may be made available separately.
5. Free resources
Free resources remain the intellectual property of The Social Work Practice Hub unless otherwise stated.
They may be downloaded, printed and used for the individual’s own practice, learning or educational purposes. Free availability does not give permission to sell, republish or commercially redistribute a resource.
6. Professional use
Resources provided by The Social Work Practice Hub are intended to support practice, reflection, learning and meaningful conversations.
They do not replace professional judgement, supervision, applicable legislation, organisational procedures or specialist assessment where these are required.
Users remain responsible for deciding whether and how a resource is appropriate for the person, circumstances and setting in which it is used.
7. Digital products, cancellations and refunds
Our Digital Products & Refund Policy explains the arrangements applying to digital purchases and what to do if there is a problem with a resource.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer law.
8. Website and learning content
Articles, Hub Learning content and other information on the website are provided for general professional learning, reflection and information.
Although reasonable care is taken in preparing content, it should not be treated as individual legal, medical, clinical or other specialist advice.
9. Intellectual property
Original resources, written content, graphics and branding created by The Social Work Practice Hub remain the intellectual property of The Social Work Practice Hub unless otherwise stated.
References to third party research, theories, frameworks and other material remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
10. Third party services and links
The website may use or link to third party services and websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third party websites.
Shopify and other service providers may be used to operate the website, process purchases and provide digital services. Further information about the handling of personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
11. Availability
We may update, change, suspend or withdraw parts of the website or individual resources where reasonably necessary. We cannot guarantee that the website or every digital service will always be available without interruption.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Social Work Practice Hub is not responsible for loss arising solely from a user’s decision to use a resource in a manner that is inappropriate for the circumstances or contrary to relevant professional, statutory or organisational requirements.
